Babangida - A Recycled President?

Here is what has been in the Nigerian news this past week! Anyway, with all the political talk on Babangida entering the race to vie for the position of President in Nigeria in the various Nigerian blogs, I thought that I would add in my own 2 cents....I need to emphasize the importance of being informed about the political discourse in Nigeria in protecting our constitution rights as well as our civil liberties as a nation. No matter what kind of activity you are involving yourself in.....We should all get involved in fashioning a stable and vibrant democracy in Nigeria.....don't be counted on the statistics of those sitting on the sidelines while despot hijack our nascent and ever evolving democracy!

IBB's track record:
Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, a.k.a, IBB, is popularly called Maradona by Nigerians for his special skill to cheat and divert, in the fashion of Argentina's soccer genius, Diego Maradona, who infamously cheated to earn victory over England in the 1986 World Cup. A self-described 'evil genius,' Babangida led Nigerians through a tortuous and deceptive political and economic transition that ended in a cul-de-sac. Perhaps because of his craftiness, it wasn't until the end of his military career that the dictator's ruthlessness and lust for power became obvious.

Enough of the name bashing! You will find an interesting and very informative read on IBB and how we can STOP him in his tracks in becoming the next recycled president of Nigeria -

Check it out and let us know what you think about this man called IBB!

Dysfunctional Democracy

The Obasanjo administration has succeeded in stifling the voices of dissent as Nigeria continues to disintegrate into a slippery slop of total ineptitude and corruption on every facets of our social, economic and political life! There is political crisis in Oyo; the judiciary arm of OBJ's admin can't enforce a court verdict, thugs are roaming the streets as killer squads, and the purported Gov Ladoja is left in a cliffhanger with an unfinished mandate. While OBJ gloats over the impeachment of another Gov. in Anambra and it's fighting to ouster yet another in Plateau state. What a tragedy and double standard! OBJ & his apparatchiks continues to disengage themselves from the real issues that affects us as a nation by entrenching divisiveness and demagogue on the alter of meritocracy and good governance to the Nigerian people. Nigerians need to hold our political elites to account as we struggle to free ourselves from the shackles of the lowest rung of degeneracy!

HERE for some mind boggling information that indicts OBJ on corruption and maladministration. You need to see this...Check it out and let us know your thoughts!

A Sad Day for Nigerian Aviation

Glad to hear that the Minister of Aviation has swapped position with another imbecile Minister. That's what we call "same 'ole' same 'ole!. I am disappointed, as a Nigerian, that we only have 'doughy' people in positions who bask in being called "Ministers". These heiffa's; President Obasanjo inclusive, lacks the necesary experience, professionalism and statemanship to steer the rudders of our nation-state out of muddled waters! I am appalled and absolutely disgusted whenever mediocre excuses of "it's the handiwork of God" are given where due negligence, rot in the nation's social and economic polity are common day occurences to ordinary Nigerians. It's about time young generation Nigerians take back our country from these political half wits before it disentigrate into the throes of abysmal dome!

Let's pay tribute to all of our fallen Nigerian brothers and sisters! Click
HERE and say a little prayer for the repose of the souls of our departed plane crash victims.
